About Aero-AIM

Locally owned, veteran-owned, and built to bring practical aerial mapping, documentation, and geospatial information services to Alaska.

A Family Business Built for Alaska

Aero-AIM is owned by Arvo and Same Lancaster and based in Fairbanks, Alaska. The company was created as a practical resource for Alaskans who need better information about properties, projects, infrastructure, and site conditions.

While Arvo leads the mapping, imagery, and geospatial analysis efforts, Aero-AIM is a family business built through teamwork, service, hard work, and a willingness to do what is needed to support a project.

Experience Behind the Work

Arvo Lancaster brings more than 21 years of imagery analysis experience from his service as an Air Force Target Intelligence Specialist. Throughout his career, he worked extensively with aerial and geospatial imagery, focusing on accurate interpretation, measurement, documentation, and decision support.

That background shapes Aero-AIM's approach. The focus is not simply collecting imagery. The focus is extracting useful information from imagery and presenting it in a way that helps clients make better decisions.

Built on Service - Driven by Precision

Aero-AIM believes deliverables should be practical, defensible, and matched to the client's actual need. Accuracy matters, but so does honesty about what level of accuracy a workflow can truly support.

Why Aero-AIM Exists

Many Alaskans spend significant time, effort, and money gathering information about sites, property conditions, drainage issues, project progress, maintenance concerns, and infrastructure. Modern mapping and documentation workflows can often provide that information faster, safer, and with greater clarity.

Aero-AIM exists to help Alaskans document conditions, understand sites, communicate clearly, and make better decisions.
